And most importantly, the growing body receives the most important trace elements: calcium, magnesium and vitamin D.
Calcium is the main building material for bones and teeth. It's involved in many other vital processes: muscle contraction, nerve conduction, the work of the cardiovascular system, blood coagulation. The NOW® Kid Cal complex contains calcium citrate: this form is easily absorbed by the stomach in any conditions. Vitamin D improves absorption of calcium. Well known, that it is formed in the body when exposed to sunlight.
Magnesium is a trace element, without which the normal body's functioning is impossible. It is necessary for the absorption and transport of calcium, it is critical for energy production and metabolism, muscle contraction, transmission of nerve impulses and bone mineralization. Magnesium is a natural stabilizer of the nervous system.
Suggested usage:
Children age 2 and up: Take 1 chewable tablet daily. Tablet to be chewed or crushed; not to be swallowed whole.
